SSSRM management has set up a new unit in the name of MECI L.L.C for an “EPOXY COATING PLANT’ and a “WELD MESH PLANT” with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction.
MECI / ECP In the year 2003 the “Epoxy Coating Plant” was set up and commissioned and the commercial production commenced from January 2004. The plant was supplied by Travelbeton S.A. of Italy and manufactured by Carlo Banfi S.p.A., Elind S.p.A. and ZEUS of Italy. The capacity of the plant is about 2500 tons per month depending on the product mix. Epoxy coated rebars Size 8mm to 32 m ASTM 775M
Fusion bonded epoxy coating. Protection from corrosion and rusting Uses High speed shot blasting machine for achieving better surface cleanliness and surface texture for input bars. Widely used by construction industry in reinforced concrete structures for specific applications. Bundles are wrapped in polyethylene cover for better shielding.
MECI / WMP
The “WELD MESH” manufacturing unit was set up and commissioned, the commercial production commenced from March 2008. The machinery was supplied by M/s Teurema of Spain and CABR of China. The capacity of the plant is about 2000 tons of weld mesh and Ribbed / plain wire rods together of customer required lengths to a max of 12 Metre. MECI - WMP manufactures welded steel fabric (Mesh) in compliance to the British standards BS 4483:2005 for reinforced concrete using state-of-art technology and machinery.
